2022 12 2 Holiday Party and Installation of Officers and Directors

Description

MEIAR will be holding the Holiday Party at the Wedding Factory in Albany on December 2nd. Be ready for another fun filled, action packed Holiday Party where MEIAR will install the Officers and Directors for 2023. As always the Social Committee would like to support the Toys for Tots organization, please bring an unwrapped toy to the party to add to our collection. Can't make the party but would still like to donate a toy? The Association Office will have collection boxes in our office.

There is one huge difference this year as opposed to years past!! 
This year there will not be tickets for the "auction" items - there will be an 
actual CASH (or check) Auction for all items donated to the Holiday Party!

Tentative timeline and event list:
Events Throughout the Evening: DJ, Dance Floor, Photo Booth, Dinner, CASH Auction (we will be highlighting the items available on our Facebook page), 50/50 Drawing, Cash Bar (Water, Tea, Lemonade too)
6:00 pm - Social Hour
7:00 pm - Dinner / Dancing (Creamy Garlic Chicken or Roast Beef, Scalloped Potatoes, Country Green Beans, Dinner Salad, Mixture of Desserts, Water, Tea, Lemonade -Catered by Pete's Bar & Grill)
8:30 pm - CASH Auction, After the CASH Auction there will be One Last Chance to Purchase 50/50 Tickets for Anyone who did not win an Auction Item
10:00 pm- 50/50 Drawing
9:00 pm - 11:00 pm - Light up the Dance Floor, Mingle with Co-Workers, Visit the Photo Booth & Enjoy Yourself.

Cost: $30.00 for members / $35.00 for guests. The Social Committee will again be supplementing approximately $10.00 per member and $5.00 per guest to join us at the Party. Hope to see you there.

Tentative timeline and event list:
Events Throughout the Evening: DJ, Dance Floor, Photo Booth, Dinner, CASH Auction (we will be highlighting the items available on our Facebook page), 50/50 Drawing, Cash Bar (Water, Tea, Lemonade too)
This year the AUCTIONS will be held in a different manner. 12 items will be in the live auction and 33 items will be in 3 groups of silent auctions. Make sure you check out all the silent auction items, you may bid on them anytime throughout the evening, before we announce the winners.
6:00 pm - Social Hour
7:00 pm - Dinner / Dancing (Creamy Garlic Chicken or Roast Beef, Scalloped Potatoes, Country Green Beans, Dinner Salad, Mixture of Desserts, Water, Tea, Lemonade -Catered by Pete's Bar & Grill)
8:30 pm - Live Auction, After the Live Auction there will be 3 Groups of Silent Auctions
15 Minutes After the Live Auction we will Announce the Winners of Items in the Silent Auction Group A
15 Minutes After Group A has been Announced we will Announce the Winners of Items in the Silent Auction Group B
15 Minutes After Group B has been Announced we will Announce the Winners of Items in the Silent Auction Group C
15 Minutes After Group C has been Announced we will Announce the Winner of the 50/50
9:30 pm - 11:00 pm - Light up the Dance Floor, Mingle with Co-Workers, Visit the Photo Booth & Enjoy Yourself.
